Upon designing and completing the first specimen of the Clara bathrobe, a client immediately fell in love with it and bought it before we even had time to take photos for placement on tamarindie.com. Clara did not even last one hour after it was realized. Why was that? It was simply gorgeous and the client could not resist it. Clara was awaiting photography on a table in a retail store and the client picked it up. She was not planning on buying bathrobes but when she saw it, she tried it on and it fit her perfectly. She said that she loved lace and this is one of the very few times where she saw lace and a bathrobe clubbed together. I wished that all Tamarindie items sold as fast.
Although lace contains lots of holes and little tread, it is quite expensive. Originally, women made it by hand and spent a lot of time to complete their work, hence its cost. Today, it is still expensive because it is simply gorgeous and beautiful and women are crazy about it. This is why Tamarindie designed and created lace bathrobes that are not available anywhere else in the market. The lace used is made of cotton and can absorb water similar to the terry towel.
