Our second Ramadan series article is about your Ramadan Iftar Decoration Table. It is to inspire you and to give you ideas. We have looked at five- star hotels and have selected design elements and rules that you can easily replicate at home to create that beautifully decorated Ramadan Iftar table. We will also provide you with our own ideas on decorating your Ramadan Iftar table as well. Decorating for Ramadan is about giving your table a spin of the traditions: dates and oriental shapes and colors. In terms of color scheme, gold and red colors are warm colors that give a very oriental and that seem to be used extensively in Iftar settings in the examples we selected for you. These Ramadan Iftar table decoration ideas come exclusively from the Middle East and other design ideas are likely to be discovered in other parts of the world.
1. Embroidery on Table Cloth & Napkins
There is nothing like a bit of oriental embroidery and inscription to capture the spirit of Ramadan. This is why we have created and designed embroidered table cloths and napkins for you. Using gold thread on jacquard off-white fabric, we have created the Ramadan designs below. One is a picture of a lantern and the other is an inscription with the traditional Ramadan and holiday greeting using decorative Arabic calligraphy: "May every year come and may you be in good health". 1. شراشف الطاولة ذات التطريز الرمضاني
ومن اجمل الافكار الرمضانية هي التطريز الرمضاني على شراشف الطاولة. ولذلك لقد صممنا لكم مجموعة شراشف طاولة وفوط رائعة ومطرزة. لقد استعملنا الخيط الذهبي على قماش ذات حياكة "الجاكار" ولونه شبيه باللون الابيض. ولقد طرزنا تصميمين: الاول هو عبارة عن جملة "كل عام وانتم بخير" بالخط العربي الذهبي الجميل. امّا التصميم الثاني فهو تصميمٌ لفانوسٍ رمضانيٍّ جميل. بامكانكم استعمال هذه التصاميم في رمضان او حتى في فترة العيد ايضاً اذا قررتم ان تنظموا غداءً او عشاءً في البيت. بامكانكم رؤيت تفاصيل هذه المنتجات في متجرنا عبر الضغط هنا او عبر الضغط على الصور ادناه.
2. Table Arrangement & Table Runners
This idea along with all other ideas presented starting from this section are brought to us by hotels from the United Arab Emirates. Indeed, Ramadan is a very festive time of the year and Iftars are a very important event. Hotels set up buffets for everyone to enjoy and for us to get inspired from their decoration. The first set of photos selected for you are from The Address Downtown Dubai. Their tables are very simple when it comes to cutlery and type of glasses used. We also see that the table clothes used are white with folded napkins. A design idea to remember from the Address Downtown is the beautiful use of a hot color runner with an oriental design to create a beautiful ambiance on the table. Lanterns have also been used as center-pieces to give a rich and luxurious feel especially as the buffet plays a very important role in serving the meal and hence less space is required on the table.
2. تنظيم الطاولة اوالمائدة
ان الفكرة هذه والافكار الاخرى المعروضة ادناه مستوحاة من فنادق موجودة في الامارات العربية المتحدة. ان فترة رمضان هي فعلاً من الفترات الاكثر ابتهاجاً في السنة وتنظم خلالها الفنادق الافطارات لتسلية الجميع ولنستوحي نحن النصائح منها. ان الصورتين ادناه من فندق "ذي ادرس داونتاون" في دبي. ان طاولاتهم بغاية البساطة عندما ننظر الى السكاكين والشوك واكواب الماء. نرى ايضاً ان شراشف الطاولة المستعملة هي من اللون الابيض ويوضع ايضاً على الطاولات الفوط المطوية بشكلٍ فنيّ. وما يلفت انتباهنا هو استعمال الشراشف الصغيرة ذات الالوان الساخنة الرمضانية فوق الشرشف الابيض لخلق جوٍّ رمضانيٍّ على طاولة الافطار. وتُستعمل ايضاً المصابيح الجميلة في وسط الطاولة او المائدة للتزيين ولتعطي غنى ورفاهية للمائدة.
3. Presentation and Dishes
Another question every housewife asks is: what types of dishes can I use to open people’s appetite? There are three ideas that we suggest to you.
The first one is using flat plates and building a pyramid with the food to be served. This is an idea by The Address Dubai Marina and it is presented in the first two photos below. The food itself is given a massive amount of importance and hence the dish nearly disappears from people’s attention.
3. طريقة العرض والاطباق
ان السؤال التي تسأله كل ربة منزل هو: ما هي الاطباق التي بامكاني استعمالها لتبدو اطباقي شهية جداً؟ لدينا ثلاثة افكار لكم. الاولى هي عن استعمال الاطباق الشيه مسطحة وعرض الطعام على شكل هرمٍ فيها كما ترون بالصورة ادناه. ان هذه الفكرة تأتينا من فندق "ذي ادرس دبي مرينا" . وتعطي طريقة العرض هذه اهميّة للطعام لان الطبق الزجاجي شبه متلاشي عن الانظار.
You can also use dishes that have a multitude of colors and designs. This is an idea by the Ritz-Carlton in Dubai. The overall theme from the dishes used by the Ritz-Carlton give an ethnic feel and the diversity of the colors blends very well given the style of dishes used. Food will definitely look very good in this type of presentation.
4.Other Decorative Elements
The Ritz-Carlton in Dubai also uses gold colored copper-made containers that are beautiful on a table in Ramadan. These types of metallic plates generally come in different sizes. Also, a lantern with a candle inside it is an amazing idea to decorate your table and dinning rooms.
4. افكار تزيّنية اخرى
يستعمل فندق "الرتز-كارلتون" في دبي النحاس ذات اللون القريب من الذهب ولابدّ ان تبدو المائدة الرمضانية جميلة جداً مع اطباق مماثلة حتى لو كان قياسها اصغر. وبامكانكم ايضاً وضع شموعاً داخل المصابيح الرمضانية لتزيين الطاولة اوغرفة الطعام ولاعطائهما جواً رمضانياً.
