Because we are in Ramadan, we will be writing a few articles useful for you relating to this Holy month. Ramadan is one of the most festive time periods in Islamic countries. It is a time where families and friends gather every evening over Iftar. It is also a time of religion and charity. Given the festive nature of Ramadan, people observing go through a massive amount of lifestyle changes from sleep cycles to food cycles to activities. It is also a month with a lot of beauty. Fashion designers for example create special collections for Ramadan and in this article, we would like to show you a few designs from these designers. We have selected designers from the United Arab Emirates for the beauty of their creations. Ramadan is indeed a very important time of the year in countries of the Arabian Gulf. We will also be writing about other topics relating to Ramadan in our future articles. So stay tuned for more!
Our first selected designer is Lamya Abedin. She has created Mexican- inspired abayas under the name of Maracas collection. Her brand name, Queen of Spades, can only suggest bold and creative designs and below are photos of the Maracas collection. Who would have ever thought that mixing the Orient with Mexico would lead to such beautiful pieces! Only a very special designer can come up with this amazing idea.
لاننا الان في شهر رمضان, سنكتب لكن مقالات تستفيدن منها في هذا الشهر الفضيل. فان شهر رمضان من الاشهر الاكثر ابتهاجاً واحتفالاً في البلاد الاسلامية. انه الشهر الذي يجتمع فيه الاهل والاصدقاء على الافطار كل يومٍ. وهو ايضاً شهر الامان والخير. ويبدو فيه الجميع بغاية الجمال. فيغير الجميع حياتهم الروتينية ونشطاتهم. ان مصممي الازياء مثلاً يصممون تصاميماً خاصة لشهر رمضان. وفي هذا المقال, نوّد ان نعرض عليكن تصاميم مبدعة من دولة الامارات وذلك لاننا وجدنا جمالاً وابداعاً في هذه التصاميم. وسنقوم ايضاً بالكتابة عن مواضيع رمضانية اخرى في مقالاتنا الاخرى في هذا الشهر. لذى تابعونا دائماً!
ان اولى المصممات التي نوّد ان نذكرها هي لمياء عابدين. فقد صممت عبايات مستوحات من المكسيك في مجموعتها التي تدعى "مركاس". وان اسم علامتها, "كوين اوف سبايدس", يوحي بتصاميم بغاية الابداع والجرأة كما ترون بالصورة ادناه. فمن كان يتخيل ان مزج المكسيك بالشرق قد يؤدي الى هذه التصاميم الرائعة! ان مصممة مميزة فقط بامكانها ان تخلق هذه الافكار.
Also from Dubai, Badria Al Faysal has created a collection of gorgeous abayas that are great for Ramadan under her brand Bleach. They are elegant and stylish. Her collection plays on the frill on the edge of the abaya as she uses colorful fabrics. She also shortens the front of the abaya, which means that wearers should also think about what to wear underneath their abaya. Below are a few photos of Badria’s collection.
ان بدرية الفيصل هي مصممة اخرى من دبي وقد صممت ايضاً مجموعة عبايات رائعة لشهر رمضان تحت اسم علامتها "بليتش"! انها عبايات بغاية الرقي والاناقة. ان مجموعتها تتميز بالالون التي تزيّن طرف العباية. وهي ايضاً تجعل امام العباية قصيراً مما يعني انه يجب التفكير بما يُلبس تحتها. وهنا صور لمجموعة بدرية.
Another UAE-based designer with gorgeous designs is Mauzan. Their abayas are very oriental with a creative designer twist. They are abayas that cover women completely with a massive amount of elegance. The abaya’s black fabric is elegantly worked with decorative motifs and frills. ومصصممون آخرون ذات تصاميم مميزة من الامارات هم "موزان". ان عباياتهم شرقية للغاية وذات حركة تصميمية ابداعية. ان عباياتهم محتشمة وانيقة في آنٍ واحد. ان قماش العباية الاسود يُشغل بالاشكال التزينية. وهنا صورتين من مجموعة "موزان".
OTT’s caftans are beautiful and are being recommended by magazines and boutiques for Ramadan as well. These are very colorful and stylish pieces with a massive amount of elegance and style. In one of their interviews, OTT mention that their source of inspiration is actress Elizabeth Taylor. They are an Emirati brand with inspiration from all around the world. Colors are amazingly beautiful for Ramadan and for all festive seasons. Colors are also the best mood and happiness boosters in the world.
وان ازياء علامة "أو تي تي" الاماراتية الجميلة توصي بها المجلات والمحلات لرمضان. انها تتميز بالوانها العديدة واناقتها واسلوبها. ويقول مصممي هذه العلامة ان الفنانة الراحلة "اليزبث تايلور" هي مصدر وحيهم مما يجعل "او تي تي" علامة اماراتية ذات وحيٍّ من حول العالم. ان الالوان تناسب شهر رمضان تماماً وتناسب جميع المناسبات المرحة. وان الالوان تؤثر اجابياً على مزاجكن وتفرحكن دائماً.
