What I noticed from my clients is that each of them has a preference in the way that they hang and display their towels. While some use small 30 x 30 cms towels in their bathrooms in a basket, other prefer to hang a regular hand towel for use by all of the family. Some place their towels in closets in bed rooms while others place them in a visible way on bathroom shelves. Some keep their towels open or hanging while others roll them like an Arabic bread sandwich. In cold and wet London, people keep their towels on towel warmers in winter and pick them up hot and cozy after their showers. Which towel hanging style do you prefer?
The most convenient way to hang a towel is to place it on a metal bar or on a towel ring. This allows towels to dry quickly after use. Rings take less space in a bathroom and are stylish and trendy. Their drawback is that they cannot hold a large number of towels at the same time and pulling the bottom towel might destabilize your display and arrangement. Using bars is a lot more flexible and practical as you can place a number of towels folded next to each other, a towel for each person using the bathroom. You can also use hooks to hang towels on your wall or on the back of your door. This technique is very convenient. However, it does not really allow you to treat your towel as a decorative object as there is really only one way in which you can hang it. Towels also always tend to fall from hooks and to land on the floor.
I prefer to place clean towels on visible shelves inside my bathroom. This makes them easy to catch and at the same beautiful and decorative. I normally match colors to the color of the bathroom or use plain white towels as white is a classic color that matches all colors and settings. If the bathroom has very light colors, I put strong and flashy colors to create effect and movement. I usually only use only one or two colors in the same living space. I usually pick a strong color and a softer color. Or I might select two soft colors if the bathroom is small and has a strong color itself. Only medium to large bathrooms will have space for shelves. For smaller size bathrooms, a shelf rack can be placed at the entrance of bathroom or you can simply use closets and other storage spaces at home.
Baskets can also be used to store towels decoratively and creatively. Small baskets can be used in guest’s bathrooms for 30x30 cms towels. You can also place a large basket in the corner of your bathroom and fold clean towels inside it. No matter how you choose to display your towel, always make sure that they are symmetrical and well-folded and stacked. You can always adjust their folding style to fit the space offered to them. لاخظت ان كلٍ من زبائني لديه طريقة خاصة لعرض واستعمال المنشفة او البشكير في بيته. فمنهم من يستخدم المناشف الصغيرة التي يكون قياسها 30×30 سم ويضعونها في سلّة في الحمام. وغيرهم يفضل تعليق منشفة واحدة ليستعملها جميع افراد العائلة. ويخزن البعض مناشفهم في خزائن في غرف النوم في حين يفضل الاخرون وضع المناشف بصورة واضحة على رفوف الحمام. ومنهم من يبقي منشفته مفتوحة ومعلقة ومنهم من يلف المنشفة كشندويش خبزٍ عربي. في المدن الباردة والرطبة كلندن, يُبقي الناس مناشفهم دافئة غبر تعليقها على مسّخن للمنشفة ويلتقطوناها ساخنة ودافئة بعد الاستحمام. فما هو اسلوب تعليق المنشفة الذي تفضله؟
من اسهل طُرق تعليق المنشفة هو وضعها على قضيبٍ حديديٍ او على حلقةٍ معدنيةٍ دائريةٍ داخل الحمام. فيجعلها اسلوب التعليق هذا تنّشف بسهولة وتَنشف بصورة اسرع بعد استخدامها. والحلقات المعدنية تأخذ مساحة قليلة في الحمام وهي انيقة وعصرية ولكنها لا تحمل عدداً كبيراً من المناشف. فاذا وضعت المناشف واحدة فوق الاخرى, ان سحب المنشفة الموجودة في الاسفل يؤدي الى تخريب العرض والترتيب. اما استخدام القضبان لتعليق المنشفة, هو اسلوبٌ عملي ومرن لانه يمكن طيّ المناشف ووضعها واحدة بجانب الاخرى, خاصةً اذا كان كلٍ من مستعملي الحمام لديه منشفته. بامكانك ايضاً استخدام تعاليق عادية على الحائط او على الباب. وهذه طريقة سهلة الاستعمال وبغاية البساطة لكنها تحدّك من استعمال منشفتك لتزين حمامك لان هناك طريقة واحدة فقط لتعليق المنشفة وتميل المنشفة ايضاً الى السقوط الى الارض عند استخدام هذه الطريقة في التعليق
اما انا, فانني افضل وضع المناشف النظيفة بشكلٍ واضحٍ وظاهرٍ على رفوف الحمام. فتكون المناشف سهلة الالتقاط وفي نفس الوقت تجملّ الحمام بالوانها.عادةً اُطابق الوان المناشف بالوان الحمام او استخدام المناشف البيضاء لان اللون الابيض هو لونٌ كلاسيكي يتناسق مع كل الالوان.واذا كانت الوان الحمام فاتحةٌ جداً, احب استعمال الوان قوية وبرّاقة لخلق تأثير وحركة.وفي الحمامات الصغيرة اوفي الحمامات ذات اللون الصاخب, افضل استخدام لوناً واحداً او لونين متناسقين فاتحين. والحمامات الكبيرة والمتوسطة الحجم هي الحمامات التي لديها مساحة للرفوف. فاذا كان حمامك صغير الحجم, يمكنك وضع مجموعة رفوف على مدخل الحمام اويمكنك تخزين المناشف في خزائن البيت
يمكن ايضاً استخدام السلال لتخزين المناشف بطريقة تزيينية ومُبتكرة. ويمكن استعمال سلال صغيرة في حمامات الضيوف لمناشف الضيوف الصغيرة والتي حجمها هوثلاثين ضرب ثلاثين سنتيمتراً. ويمكن ايضاً وضع سلة كبيرة في زاوية من الحمام وطي مناشف نظيفة في داخلها. وفي جميع اساليب العرض الذي تختارها, يجب ان تكون المناشف مطويةً بشكلٍ منظّمٍ ومتناسقٍ و متماثلٍ
